Over 80 people joined the bi-annual Family Camp, including Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, parents and leaders at Walton Firs Activity Centre, Cobham.  We arrived on Friday evening to erect the tents, followed by a barbecue organised by the leaders. 

On Saturday we split into manageable groups and took part in caving, high ropes, skittle alley, nightline, crate stacking and buggy building.  In the evening the lightning-fast AGM announced the Beaver, Cub and Scout of the Year awards, and winner of the 200 Club.  The evening ended with singing and socialising around a roaring camp fire. No one seemed to mind that it was now pouring with rain! 

Sunday morning started with a full English breakfast and wide games.  At the end of the weekend camping adventure we managed to get the tents down before the heavens opened. 

Overall, the weather was kind to us (mostly!).
